Personal Assistant to the Managing Director
This is a varied administrative role providing support to the Managing Director as well as support to other management and office functions within the company. The ideal candidate must be organised, diligent, professional, trustworthy and approachable. Working as an ambassador for both the MD and the company, the successful candidate must share the same value set placing the interests of patients at the heart of everything they do and they must be prepared to go the extra mile in the patient interest. Full training will be provided in support of this central role within the organisation.
The position is contracted for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with no weekend working save in the event of emergencies. There is a requirement for periodic travel to other parts of the business and therefore the successful candidate must have a valid UK drivers’ licence.
The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a generous 10% non-contributory pension scheme as well as good holiday and sick pay benefits.

Pharmaceutical Production Technician
This is an entry level position that suits newly qualified hospital pharmacy technicians or life science/pharmaceutical sciences graduates wishing to change career direction. Full training will be provided in support of this critical role which is essential to ensuring continuity of supply of desperately needed safe quality medicines.
The position is varied with duties spanning production, production control, supervisory and quality assurance duties all conducted under the auspices of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and has a defined career pathway to a senior technical position. The role includes; GMP oversight and control of production, input into the sourcing and release of materials including APIs, excipients, components and other production consumables; writing control documentation including master batch records, specifications and procedures; performing in-process production controls and participating in operational training and production.
The ideal candidate will have undertaken part of their training within a hospital manufacturing environment or had experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. There is a physical component to the role including the requirement to enter clean rooms.
The position is contracted for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with no weekend working and no on call commitment. There is reasonable scope for flexible working provided that duties mesh with operational requirements.
